Habeeb Syed loves working as a transactional attorney for passionate entrepreneurs. He has years of experience working with startups and SMEs serving their legal needs, including handling Formations, Financings, Commercial Agreements, and Mergers & Acquisitions. Since 2017 Habeeb has carved a niche for himself in the digital asset space, working on organizations dealing with ICOs, NFTs, Crypto Funds, Mining Pools, DeFi, DAOs, and all things Web3. He even helped organize the first Pakistan Blockchain Week in 2018.
EXPERIENCE
Before joining Sutter Law, Habeeb was a Senior Associate at Vicente Sederberg, the #1 Cannabis law firm in the country. He has also worked for a Northern Virginia boutique, B.J. Kang Law, as a Corporate and Securities Associate and before that as an Extern in the U.S. Attorneys Office for the Central District of California. Alongside his legal experience, Habeeb has been active with a variety of startup-related organizations and as a mentor to many entrepreneurs. His breadth of experience with businesses and their pain points allows him to serve as an effective outside general counsel to his clients.
